The Annual Ratner Family Lecture 2025, “Ambition and Hope, Here and Elsewhere,” is a conversation between two scholars of religion, Jacqueline Hidalgo and Marcus Evans. They will discuss ambition and hope in the religious communities, expressions, and textual/artistic creations in their research, and how places, both near and far, imagined and real, define these ambitions and hopes.
Co-sponsored by the Department of Religious Studies, The Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities, and the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women
